Indian Temples, Mosques, Gurudwara's Condition!

India is a country full of religions and lots of temples which shows its diversity .From the majestic Himalayan ranges in the North, to Kanyakumari in the South, India is arrayed with thousand of shrines, temples and worship places dating back to hundreds of years. The problem is with temple management, who are not properly motivated nor trained to handle management properly. Temples, Mosques and Gurudwara are not in good condition in some places.

Also the average person in India is hardly concerned about conservation or heritage. It is every body's responsibility to preserve them, protect them and maintaining them properly so that the future generations can enjoy it and take a pride in their history and culture.

Do anyone care about cleanliness while visiting temples?

In our country we follow many religions like Hinduism, Islam, Christianity, Sikhism, Buddhism. We all carry flowers, candles and other things to worship god. But as these flowers and other things are put in front of god and they are removed and thrown somewhere near the temple.

It is said that ‘cleanliness is next to godliness’. There are generally any number of ‘pandas’ and priests at the temples but hardly any to do real ’sewa’ ( serve ) the temple. Whereas it is costly to repair and renovate the temples it does not cost anything to keep them them neat and tidy; it only needs true feeling of service.

The temples, mosques, and gurudwara which are in big cities or get huge donation are well maintained from inside but outside or somewhere around it places are dirty and bad in condition.

Cleansing the temples will not only evolve the soul but also keep you away from heart diseases.

Do we care about religious places where we think our god lives?
