Earthquake In Pakistan, India, Dubai

A severe earthquake measuring 7.2 on the Richter scale hit remote area of south-west Pakistan on Wednesday was felt from India to Dubai.

The earthquake occurred at 1.23 am Pakistani time at a depth of 84 km. Its epicentre was Dalbandin, a remote town in Balochistan province with a population of 15,000. No reports of casualties at the epicentre because the region is sparsely populated.

In India's northwestern border state of Rajasthan said cracks appeared in the walls of rural dwellings.

People rushed from their homes as the quake hit. At many places, men and women gathered in open spaces and began praying.

Tremors of the quake were felt in Delhi, Jaipur, Barmer, Ganganagar and Jaisalmer in Rajasthan and parts of Haryana, Delhi, NCR.
