Rajesh Talwar, father of murdered teenager Aarushi, was attacked by an unidentified youth outside a Ghaziabad court.Talwar, who had gone to the court to file a petition demanding a fresh probe by the CBI in the Aarushi-Hemraj murder case, was taken to a hospital by his lawyers.
Young man – was beaten up by angry lawyers before he was taken into custody. His name is Utsav Sharma, who belongs to Varanasi.
He is the same person who had attacked SPS Rathore outside a Panchkula court in February last year. He was a student of the prestigious National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad.
It is claimed that he was upset at the slow progress in the Aarushi-Hemraj murder case and his intention was only to injure Talwar. He has been arrested under 307 IPC (attempt to murder),
Utsav’s father said his son “should not be treated as a criminal, considering his mental condition”. “My son is suffering from depression since December 2007… Taking this into account, he should not be treated as a criminal for attacking Talwar.
Utsav should be punished as he has repeated the scene . No matter what ever the reasons are he is accused and should be punished for what he has done. He does not have any right to take law in his hands.
Utsav should have protested by rallying or something non-violent?
Is this the way to protest against slow progress of Aarushi – Hemraj case?
